Today I want to discuss briefly something I saw and read on Yahoo news:
Saggy Pants Ban in Florida
Like the blog title suggested... seriously?
"The "Saggy Pants Law" requires educators to crack down on the indecent fashion trend by issuing warnings to students who wear pants/skirts that show their underwear."
Let me get this straight. They are now giving out tickets to students in high school and in public for having sagging pants? What if someone just lost weight? Not everyone, including teens, is purposefully trying to be a sight for sore eyes. Besides, if you don't like it, STOP LOOKING!
Have the morality police really flipped their lids this badly? I know that conservative adults are busy trying to control people and tell them how to live their lives, but even this is an assault against our basic rights as citizens. The moral watchdogs are grasping at straws here. Even the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) has jumped on this one like flies to stinky shit. Parents are outraged.
Allow me to cite their reasoning for this law:
"exposing underwear or body parts in an indecent or vulgar manner or that disrupts the orderly learning environment."
Now here's the deal, and I'm going beyond the constitutional issue of First Amendment rights of Freedom of speech and expression. Let's change our paradigm for a moment if you will.
Does this mean that a woman or man cannot wear a bathing suit in public? Just as with the pants sagging there IS a small piece of cloth covering the genitals. YOU are NOT the one that has to face the fact of looking stupid... the person sagging does. Also, it's not like these teenagers are out waving their cocks around in public. THAT I would say might warrant some attention and perhaps a citation.
Let me break it down further and state for the record that this law has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING besides people wanting to control other people. And let's be more honest... the MAJORITY of these fucking assholes who want to be the morality police are overzealous religious fanatics. Here's a poster of what I think about this issue:
If you can't read the small print, then I'll spell it out for you:
Religion is like a penis.
It's fine to have one
It's fine to be proud of it.
But please don't whip it out in public and start waving it around.
And PLEASE don't try to shove it down my children's throats.

Also please remember that the United States of America is NOT a Christian nation!! We are a nation of TOLERANCE, a melting pot of diversity and many different religions that INCLUDES Muslims, Jews, Christians, Hindus, Atheists, Agnostics, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Satan worshipers, Buddhists, and more...
It is NOT our diversity that divides us, but EVIL people that want us to keep fighting while they are busy raping us and taking away our rights and civil liberties in the meantime. Our diversity IS what once made this nation great and it can make our nation great once again. It is our diversity that brings people from different cultural backgrounds and different walks of life together. Together we can triumph and succeed, but divided and squabbling amongst ourselves, we will and we ARE failing miserably as a nation.
This has been the Quiet Mouse. Open your eyes, your ears, and your heart. CHOSE to be above the pettiness and worry about YOU and how YOU can HELP rather than HURT others. Life is NOT about who has the most toys. Life is about helping others. Let's keep the focus where it belongs, eyes toward Washington D.C. where corporate driven politicians are laughing at us as they help the banks and big businesses STEAL our lives and futures away from us all. It really IS the upper 1% against US, the bottom 99%.
