Craigslist Crap

Namaste and thank you for joining me today. I hope your day is going well. I'm not going to take too long on this one here, so let's just jump right in and get going.

I'm not really an opponent or proponent of the site mentioned above. I've bought a few things from people selling on that site, but often the "remarkable" finds are few and far between. Well, that is if you can actually get the person selling to write you back, lol.
My main purpose of writing this article today is to tell the people selling their crap on Craigslist is simply this: YOUR CRAP ISN'T WORTH WHAT YOU THINK IT IS!!! Now I understand you may have payed an exorbitant amount for your material possessions that you are now oh so willing to part with, but quite literally once an item comes off the store shelf, or in the case of a car off the lot, unless it's in pristine condition, it's gonna be worth, I'd say an easy HALF of what you payed for it, upon your attempt to resale. I'm not going to say that everything on this website is crap... no, no, no, not at all. I'm just saying plain as day that a person's USED possessions, pets, cars, etc. are often overpriced by the sellers. Cause if it's only going to be a couple dollars more to get a BRAND NEW whatever, then why would I pay you nearly full price for your beat up used throw-away's? I mean, it's not like you want that item any longer since you are selling it. I mean you could be like kind to strangers and whatnot and take it to some thrift shop like Goodwill or the Salvation Army so someone less fortunate can have it at a discount (then again, I have seen those places highly overcharge for shit they got GIVEN TO THEM FOR FREE).
Well, needless to say, please be careful and mindful of buying stuff pre-owned off of any of these kind of sites. You really DO get what you pay for. Thanks for those few moments of your time. Have a good rest of your day. Peace. Love. Respect.

Friday the 13th

Namaste  and welcome back  to another  edition  of the  Quiet  Mouse Strikes Back.  Yesterday as you may have noticed was Friday the 13th. I could spend this whole blog talking about  how the "holy"  Roman Catholic church murdered many hundreds of  Templar  Knights on Friday October 13, 1307 with false accusations of witchcraft and heresy.  However,  instead, I would like to spend this time, a short moment, taking about  horror  movies,  moreover the faux pas involved. Don't worry, Jason Voorhees isn't coming to get you...

If you grew up in the 80's, 90's, or before you are probably familiar with classic horror films like Psycho, the  Birds, Frankenstein, Dracula, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm street, Hellraiser, Dawn of the Dead, Halloween, Evil  Dead,  Scream, etc. that defined the horror genre.
What has always made me laugh, honestly, is how stupid some of the on-screen  characters are. Like why do all people in horror movies  when they are being chased by a raving psychopath act retarded? Why on Earth would you not turn on a light in a creepy old dark house or room? Why would you run UP the stairs  to escape a psycho  rather than out the front door to safety? Why the fuck would you stick around to die after all your friends got  hacked up  or  shot by a chainsaw, butcher knife, machete, or gun wielding ASSHOLE who is now coming after YOU? I think the first  Scary Movie  laughably made a  good point  when Carmen Electra was running away from the masked attacker out into the yard to see a sign.  One direction was toward safety  and the other toward certain  death. It may be just a plot point to add drama and suspense,  but  I must say that it is overdone in horror movies and is kinda lame.
I do however prefer  that kind of old school horror movie  because without CGI special effects,  the actors like Christopher Lee, Bella Lugosi, Bruce  Campbell, and Robert Englund had to actually ACT scary.  Modern horror films like Saw, et al, focus too much on  mindless gore and senseless violence that add little to nothing to the continuity of the story,  which is generally weak  and  poorly executed.
Although I admit dislike for movies with creepy kids, I think Insidious is a pretty good modern horror film and I'm looking forward to seeing the sequel which actually looks scarier than the first. Like always, I'll see you at the movies... thanks for  the time and have a creepy day... muhahahaha...

American Conservatism

Once we recognize that Libertarianism is essentially neo-feudalism, and that it is now the dominant conservative philosophy of the Republica...
