Check the Temperature

Why is it that when you go into the grocery store, or really any major store or movie theater for that matter, that the temperature inside seems really cold compared to outside? I'm really glad I brought a coat to the store with me today because it felt like it was freezing inside. I was still cold with a light jacket on. It's not a bad day outside, sunny, partly cloudy, fairly warm... it's nice.
What really sucks is the shock of the drastic change in temperature, especially since it's the last day in April, so it's not like it's exactly summer. I'm sure the cave bears and all those with cabin fever are excited about the raise in heat, but rest assured that the real days of warmth are coming. It's not outdoor swimming weather which some of the locals are already chomping at the bit to get back into the lakes and rivers for swimming.
I'm sure if the retailers and individuals were to check the thermostat they would clearly see that we are not ready quite yet for the sub arctic temps in our favorite stores. May and June are right around the corner.
