Love is... kind, generous, empathetic, compassionate, and honest
Love doesn't know skin color, handicap, prejudice, age, race, or even sexual preference. I'm proud of our Supreme court for deciding that love will prevail and that anyone can get married equally despite any of the previously mentioned predispositions. Love is a wonderful thing and it should be shared equally for all people, for all people DESERVE the rights under the Constitution of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It doesn't say it's just for hetero people, but for ALL people.
I think it's great to live in a country that is so progressive that we can finally start practicing what the founding fathers preached.... and that is EQUALITY for all. This is just a step in the right direction. WE the people also need to start having equality for all based upon the freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to bear arms, the right to a fair and speedy trial, the right to be safe and secure in your person and home. To me the Constitution is a document of love that gives rights to EVERYONE and that deserves to be fought over and preserved for future generations as well as current ones. Love isn't just for couples. Love should be shared with your neighbors, friends, family, and fellow human beings, for it is in this LOVE that we will preserve the rights and freedoms for all, as long as this nation shall remain vigilant to the needs of all of it's citizens and not just a select few.
Love will conquer all and everyone deserves the right to be happy. So go out and spread the love. Show the haters that this isn't just lip service. Show them all that love conquers all. After all in the words of the late John Lennon "Love is all you need".
