The POOR

Namaste and welcome. I am the ONE and ONLY Quiet Mouse, your blog host.
I'm going to jump right into the topic today and say how disappointed I am with my fellow human beings. People watch t.v. and they see poor people and something strange occurs... disgust. It has been drilled into the brains of many Americans that if a person is NOT monetarily inclined a.k.a. poor, that this person or family somehow made a bad decision and that they somehow DESERVE to be where they are at. But why?

Before we get into anything further, I want to talk a moment about the separation of classes. Despite the claims and arguments against the logic of this fact: there IS indeed a class system in the United States and the world in general. 1% of the population owns 80% of the world's money, resources, food, and wealth. The class system is really simple and easy to describe... that is if you have an open mind to LISTEN, BE INFORMED, and OPEN YOUR MIND beyond the dogmatic propaganda you have been indoctrinated to your entire life.
The class system is based on 1 simple philosophy. Ready? A select handful of wealthy individuals owns EVERYTHING you can see, taste, touch, smell, hear, and think. You are NOT free and you never have been. The society you live in is one of show. It is all Hollywood special effects, smoke and mirrors, designed to give YOU the illusion that perhaps one day you will be like THEM (the rich inbred landowners). This is NOT true. Capitalism is a LIE because MONEY IS A LIE!!!

In order for their to be an Elite ruling class of people, there has to be many more hundreds of millions of poor, tired, huddled masses of people living at the BOTTOM. The concept of a "Middle Class" is only a recent advent as the technological and industrial booms have allowed a few select individuals to raise above their poor status... namely as they covet the wealth and avarice trying to keep up with the Jones'. Delusions are the only thing trickling down from above. We were sold on this idea the "YOU" can have everything you want: a house in the burbs with a swimming pool, a gas guzzling SUV, and 2.3 kids... all you have to do is sign away your life to the banks owing a lifelong debt to a nameless, faceless person who is NOT interested in the American "dream"...
And once you awaken from this dream you will notice that the rose colored glasses are gone. The halo effect is gone. Hundreds of American cities HERE on this land, not some far away country look like Iraq or Beirut; abandoned buildings and deserted towns littering the landscape of what once was a great and prosperous nation. But we didn't think that the glory days would EVER end, did we?
What is worse is that Americans have been told these most heinous lies from above, like "you shouldn't have to pay your taxes" or "poor people deserve to be poor". The "middle class" has been convinced that they shouldn't have to pay for the poor. To an extent I understand the frustration because the ENTIRE burden has been placed upon the tired, shrinking middle class. The poor pay little to no taxes because they have no money or resources, therefore they continue to stay poor. The RICH pay little to no taxes because they have all the money and can afford to cheat and lie and pay high price accountants to cook their books for them... ERGO the middle class has to pay for EVERYTHING.
Here's one problem of many that I have with this system and this goes WAY BEYOND the hoarding of wealth. There is enough wealth, money, resources, food, etc. on this planet to take care of EVERY SINGLE MAN, WOMAN and CHILD. PERIOD. The separation of classes is an attack on ALL humanity as we are ALL created equally under the eyes of God. Like it or not, it is EVERYONE'S responsibility to take care of the poor. The wealthy are under attack because they do NOT want to help the poor. They are continually using the politicians and lawmakers to further their own agenda. What's worse is that people are so brainwashed, manipulated, and ingrained into this system that the stupidest people are dead set on DEFENDING the system that is irrevocably broken and biased AGAINST him/her.

Next I want to talk about jobs. I keep hearing comments to the effect of "poor people wouldn't be poor if they just got a job" or "got with the program". Really? Are we really that ingrained into a lie that we can't even see the most basic truth? The jobs are GONE. We have moved away from an agrarian rural society to a post-industrial/technological urban existence. Some of the jobs have been lost to overseas, as foreign labor markets tighten competitiveness and profit margins for the corporate interests as well as tax incentives to move jobs to foreign lands. However the MOST common thing that takes away a humans job or right to work is this TECHNOLOGY itself. With the inception of technology humans have gone from working, to serving, mainly because we have machines to do the work for us now so we don't have to. There would be plenty of jobs available if a robot or machine wasn't doing it for you.
Then we get into the issue of foreign labor. For this blog I am going to NOT focus on overseas jobs that are lost, but the ones here in this nation. Another lie that we have been told is that the jobs are all being taken away by illegal immigrants. While I can agree on one hand that illegals ARE burdening our entitlement system, damaging the health care system and causing an overpopulation boom... they ARE generally speaking very hard workers. They OFTEN do jobs that Americans DON'T want to do, like picking fruit and cotton, cleaning toilets, doing janitorial work, working at fast food restaurants, and basically all the menial work that white and black people don't want to do. Here's where it gets dicey. The rich LOVE the illegals being here working for lower wages at cash rates under the table. It's slave labor. Same reason they are turning prisons into penal colonies once again. Slave labor. Cheap labor helps their costs stay low and profits stay high!
But make no mistake about it. YOU are no less of a slave than the poor Hispanic picking fruit.
When, not if, you LOSE your job too, you will be among the tired, poor, huddled masses. YOU might have to squat in an abandoned home to have shelter for your family. YOU might have to steal bread to feed your family. and you most DAMN SURE would have a different perspective once you are homeless and in need. Everyone WANTS socialism when it benefit's THEMSELVES. And when you are at the rock bottom all you CAN DO is hold your hand up toward the top where you see people eating caviar, playing tennis and golf, driving a car that costs more than most people will make in YEARS of work, living in lavish mansions with servants like you, who spit at the poor like they are some kind of lepers filled with disease.
THEY get to ignore the problem because THEY don't have to live in it. THEY get to sit up in their pristine white houses and look DOWN on us... as long as they keep their wealth and continue to increase it THEY are happy, blissfully ignorant of the plight that besets the majority of us... the constant struggle for the most simple of needs: food, water, clothing, and shelter.
Now I am going to talk about religion and how it affects the poor. Since this is an alleged Christian nation it is even that much more appalling of a situation of how the poor are treated, because after all taking care of the poor would be SOCIALISM... it might be something that CHRIST himself would do. But rather than HELP and ASSIST our fellow human beings and bring them UP, the middle class assists their corporate masters by aiding in the oppression of the poor and meek. The middle class worships and serves the people who PAY THEIR CHECKS cause they are "just doing my job", not realizing the whole time that so many are only one paycheck away from being part of the masses of poor who are chastised for protesting against the tyranny of Wall Street and the politicians who are paid off to fuck over the American people, and to oppress ALL poor peoples around the WORLD.
Until the mindset of the "middle class" changes to accept the poor as being equal and the SAME, which we all are by birth and creation... nothing will ever change. It is everyones duty to provide for their families. It is everyone's duty to assist the poor and underprivileged. We must change our mindset to one of WANTING to help one another. We must WANT to set aside our differences and protest in a peaceful manner as we all share a common goal, a common existence, a common bond: LIFE.
We must actually admit that we have been part of the problem, but moreover, we ARE going to be part of the solution instead of clinging to the old ways of thought that got us into this messy situation to begin with. We CANNOT look above for any help. THEY just aren't gonna give it. So therefore WE must help one another instead of wondering "WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?" We must put aside ego and selfish ambitions and move toward a positive society based on love, compassion, empathy, and reverence rather than greed, selfishness, ego, and avarice. Again, there are ENOUGH resources on this planet to take care of EVERYONE... so ask yourself as you read this what you are willing to fight for? What are you willing to sacrifice your immaculate existence for? What are you willing to do to ensure that no MAN will take away what little you have? When are YOU gonna wake up to the reality is that NO ONE up above in D.C. is looking out for you or your interests? When are YOU gonna wake up and realize that the future will get better ONLY when we lay down our weapons, both verbal and metal, and STOP fighting over petty differences like gender, sexual orientation, color, nationality, ethnicity, etc.? When are you going to HELP someone else besides your SELF? When can we put the value of a HUMAN BEING above the USE of a material THING?
So when you go outside and down the street, do NOT look down your nose at a person who is begging for your change. Empathize and understand that the SYSTEM is what's broken. PEOPLE are broken too for believing in a system that DOES NOT BELIEVE IN THEM, or THE INHERENT VALUE OF A HUMAN BEING. We have to STOP thinking like the elite because they are only concerned with KEEPING their wealth and status at the TOP OF THE PYRAMID. America is the Titanic and it is sinking. I love this nation, but am abhorred by the inhumane and selfish acts that I see nearly every day with all the violence, fighting, and mayhem both domestically and abroad. Are you gonna keep polishing the brass of the ruling class as the ship sinks? OR are you going to be a better person and help your fellow men, women, and children break from the cycle of DEPENDENCE by doing simple things like growing your own food, recycling, reducing waste, and reusing? Are you going to STAND UP and demand justice and equality? Or are you just going to go back to being one of the herd of SHEEP staring blankly at the television getting fat, stupid, and helpless?

Ladies and Gentlemen... this has been the Quiet Mouse. WAKE UP!!
Peace. Love. Empathy. Respect. Family Values. Truth. Compassion.
