Namaste and welcome back friends, family, and fellow knowledge seekers. It is time once again, TADA, for another exciting edition of the Quiet Mouse Strikes Back. Now we've all pretty much heard the arguments against this topic, but like many other things, I just want to throw my 10 cents into the arena and say a few things.
#1... Homosexuality is NOT contagious. It is not a disease or affliction... and there is NO cure.
#2... It is NOT what you do in the bedroom that makes you gay, but who you do it with. Having anal sex does NOT make you gay. If you are a man and want another man to have anal sex with you... THAT makes you gay. Doing the EXACT same thing with a woman is straight.
#3... Some people and creatures on this planet are just flat out BORN homosexual and gay. Just look at dogs, cats, and your neighbors.
#4... There IS a difference between HOMO and GAY... Homo just means you enjoy sex from the same gender. GAY means you are happy and have pride in your homosexuality and/or have come out of the closet.
#5... The bible does NOT say anything about the sanctity of marriage being between 1 man and 1 woman. In fact, it wasn't until the 1400's that polygamy and homosexuality were considered to be taboo by the Roman Catholic church.
#6... It just ISN'T RIGHT to force priests to be celibate in the church... this just leads to homosexuality against the altar boys... NOT FUCKING COOL!!
#7... I don't care how old you are... if you have same gender sex... you are gay.
#8... It IS more attractive to look at gay women, lesbians, than gay men because women are generally cleaner, better groomed, and there is no sword fighting. Men are more gross, hairy, and not so gentle on the eyes.
#9... It is OKAY for people to have pride in their person. It is okay to have peaceful marches, protests and rallies to show support for your cause. But it is NOT OKAY to try to force your beliefs or your penis down everyone else's throats... this goes for you overly religious people too.
#10... Last but not least: If you don't have anything nice to say... SHUT THE FUCK UP! If you don't like gay people, don't hang around them... just like if you don't like smoking, don't do it, and don't hang around with people that do.
To sum it up, let's recap. Homosexuality is NOT contagious. If you are straight, fine, but leave the other people the fuck alone as long as they are not hurting animals or children. It is NEVER okay for a gay man to impose his will upon a young boy. That is called pedophilia and is GROSS. Sex should ALWAYS be between two consenting adults, in my opinion. Next, does it REALLY matter if homosexuals get the right to marry one another? Why does this bother so many people? I think they deserve the right to as much happiness or misery as any other couple, gay or straight, and the privileges that go along with the marriage.
Another issue that I have is that so many people are afraid of gays in the military... REALLY? They're willing to fight and die for something they believe in... what are YOU willing to fight and die for? If they are willing to brave the front lines of the battle field for the sake of you and I, I think it's a good idea to forgive them for their sexual orientation. I think we can look past that part of a person, because that is ONLY what the person does in the bedroom... the rest of the day gay people are hard working, productive, and generally funny to be around.
We don't have to judge one another for harmless behaviors and we don't have to be the morality police for every behavior WE don't find appealing. Once again... if you don't like something... separate yourself from it. But do NOT call out the people that are only wanting the same thing that you and I as straight people want: HAPPINESS and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Is that really so much for people to understand? EVERYONE wants someone to share their life and heart with. If you open your eyes and your heart you will understand like I do, that everyone wants to be happy and the superficial things that have been allowed to divide humans for so long really are meaningless as we all bleed red, we're all pink on the inside, and we all breathe, live, and die... it's been this way since the dawn of time. Do NOT judge lest you be judged yourself. Instead, why don't you try being nice today... and if you don't have anything nice to say... don't say anything at all.
