Namaste and welcome my friends, family, and fellow knowledge seekers to my blog. As you can see, this is part 3 of a 4 part series, so if you haven't already, please go back and check out the first 2 parts as I counted down backward from 100 to 51. This addition will cover, in descending order the continuation 50 thru 26. You'll also have noticed my 2 main music influences growing up in Headbanger's Ball and Yo! Mtv Raps.
Before I get to the songs, I wanted to talk more about my own personal influences from hip-hop and rap. If you read my blog then you will know how much of a cinephile (movie lover) I am. The rap industry has had a profound impact on not just television, but movies and pop culture in general. Who would have thought that not one, but two rap songs have won Academy Awards (Oscars). First being Eminem with "Lose Yourself" from the 8-Mile movie soundtrack. Second for Three 6 Mafia with "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp" from the Huslte and Flow movie soundtrack.
