Beauty In the Small Things

Namaste and thank you for joining me today as I digress about the simple things.

Life is dramatic, tense, and frustrating at times, throughout our short lives. Sometimes, however, we must step back a bit and re-learn those kindergarten lessons that we have forgotten as adults. There is so much beauty in the natural world and it makes me thankful to live in the state of Washington, especially compared to living in the heat of the South. I appreciate the green. I appreciate the sunsets. I appreciate rainbows, bbqs in the summer with friends, and all the plethora of wildlife. I have grown fond of a cool breeze, dipping my toes in the lake, or just running bare foot through the grass.
Often the small things like a smile, a piece of candy, or an iced lemonade can make the day just a smidge better. Laughter too is a beautiful medicine. And if all else fails, smoke some marijuana... that seems, at least temporarily, to make things feel better on those days that aren't so colorful and fun.

It's the refreshing sip of cool water from the cooler or fountain, the positive text or Facebook post from a friend, or even the good grade you got on the test, maybe even the big promotion or pay raise that makes all the other times worth it. Every day can't be the best day, but that doesn't mean we can't make the best of it. Do what you can and be the best you can. That's all anyone can ask. The law of attraction will bring back the vibrations that you have put out into the universe. Trust me, I know how negative thoughts can fester and eat you inside and pass on to others like a viral infection.
Hunger too can make folks cranky too, so maybe a Snickers is needed. It also helps to exercise and drink lots of water to get out those toxins. If those things don't work then maybe a change of scenery could help. People can be just as toxic as the crap we put into our bodies. Garbage in equals garbage out.

Rather than focus on the negatives, I'm keeping my chin up and constantly telling myself all the simple little things that I'm grateful for... on a DAILY basis. Gratitude and the law of attraction are key. It's the SECRET... and it's so easy a caveman could do it... and it's all just one paradigm shift away from being reality. We are what we think we are. So be awesome! Spread that joy to others! Find pleasure, beauty, and solace in the little things that add up to make YOU. Of all the infinite wisdom, beauty, and diversity of the universe, God decided YOU were needed too. Don't take that for granted. Each day of life and breath is a gift... that's why it's called the PRESENT.
This has been the one and only Quiet Mouse.
Peace. Love. Respect.
