Poetry for the Presidential election

Namaste and welcome to my blog. As per usual, I must remind my readers that this is indeed an adult 18+ blog, viewer and readers be advised. Now, today I wanted to write you a poem about the upcoming election. Hillary and Donnie at home by their fires
Bill's getting head from an intern for hire
The mood is all set for a President to be elected
Bankers and business execs hope their pawns be selected
Tensions are mounting with no end in sight
America divided, looking for a fight
Lies and division, bias and greed
Are not the traits in a leader we need
Both are all dressed up for the camera
Trump talks like he's Tony Montana
Grab life by the pussy, or so he said
Lawsuits and victims lining up to get paid
Two weeks til election and all through the White House
Obama and family parasitic like louse
Million dollar vacations on tax payer money
The ride is soon over, but the horizon's not sunny
Hillary likes to wear a $1200 pant suit
She stole from Dr. Evil to boot
Donald Trump has so much product in his hair
It's burning a new hole in the ozone layer
The nation's in peril and tensions are high
Cause Russia's threatening to drop bombs from the sky
The Federal Reserve is un-Constitutional and lame
Stealing our future, so to me that's to blame
No pensions or jobs or food on the plate
But lots of open mouths in this welfare state
It's so hard to please so many daughters and sons
With unfulfilled dreams, what have we become
Our choices are between evil or worse
Neither better than the other, of course
One looks like a Nazi in front of the paparazzi
The other is a pig with the worst fucking wig
Womanizer, racist, xenophobe, and prick
The other one looks like she's needing some dick
Bill's off with an intern having another affair
While Hillary and Donnie have a team fixing their hair
They both pander and slander and both sling the mud
But the American people just don't give a crud
About the lies and scandals and all of the pain
Cause every four years we are at it again
It's either the jackass or the old grouchy elephant
Either way, we aren't getting what we want
You Republicans thought Dr. Paul was too much
Democrats got behind Bernie and such
But the DNC had promised the seat
To the woman everyone had to beat
She's a career politician who's never done anything but lie
Disbarred as a lawyer for behavior that's unethical and wry
Donnie is a career business man who lives out of touch with the land
The more money you have the less about the poor you understand
Hillary should know, making millions off the masses
But truth be told, I think that her and Bill are asses
Trump talks like a locker room and plays to win
Maybe he should think more about the state we are in
I've heard all the debates and there isn't a plan
That we've all waited for across this great land
Of how we're going to lower the tax
While wealthy sit high in white towers and relax
The blood, tears, and sweat, we should never forget
That the veterans who fought and died don't regret
Their service and efforts should not be in vain
We CAN be a nation that is glorious again
Though there is no great frontier or undiscovered land
That doesn't mean we can't live hand in hand
The thought of helping one another isn't odd
In fact, I think that it's rather quite bold
We don't have to be a nation of violence and wars
To be led by criminals and political whores
We don't have to buy into the two party scam
No we really don't have to if it's not part of our plan
The citizens of our nation should always come first
Before giving our money to someone who's worse
Yes, the world is a mess and problems abound
But there aren't a lot of good leaders around
We've looked far and wide from the Atlantic to Pacific
Maybe we should have been more specific
We asked for a leader and got a globalist clown
With misguided interests and a mean mug frown
She's the devil, 666, the mark of the beast
Who offers the world and all you can feast
But the critical soul knows the difference of two
Cause you can't feed another without sacrificing from you
Peter robs Jim to pay welfare to Paul
Taxation is theft, I say it to all
But since they're gonna take it as a matter of fact
Maybe perhaps we could have a choice on that act
A little discretion on where the money is paid
Instead of getting blow jobs in the oval office, getting laid
It's not too much to ask of over 300 million to wake up and heal
It's not a joke feeling like this is all too real
There are many other men and women eager to serve
To preserve our rights, bring back the jobs, and show a little nerve
These United States are wonderful and majestic
With enemies both foreign and domestic
Not all are bad, in fact most are good and funny
Hard working folks trying to make some money
And spend some time with family and friends with no strife
While having some cash and making a hell of a life
There's no place other that has such a feel
Like America baby! Oh yeah, what a deal!
Whatever you do, please get out and vote
It's our patriotic duty to fill out that note
Cast your ballot for red or blue, or write in another
And don't forget to give a ride to your mother
Election day should be a holiday
Like Christmas, Thanksgiving, or MLK day
EVERYONE deserves the right to be heard
A voice of equality to the word.
Red, yellow, white, brown, or black
It really don't matter if you're pulling your slack
Diversity is what makes us as a nation a winner

Eat That $alad

Namaste and welcome back to another posting for the Quiet Mouse Strikes back blog.
Today I want to talk about the price of eating healthy. For the sake of this discourse I'm going to focus on salads.

We all need to eat more vegetables, leaner meats, and less carbs and refined sugars, as a society. This is just an undisputed FACT as 1 in 3 Americans is considered obese.
I was pleased to find recently that for the first time in my recent memory, that McDonald's has a basic salad for cheaper than a McDouble cheeseburger. Only about 20 cents difference, but it's a start.
What's sad is that it is more often the other way around. It is more often the case where a salad is MUCH more expensive than cheap burgers to the tune of like $6 for a salad vs. $1.69 to $2.50 for basic burgers at many fast food joints.  No wonder the obesity rate is so high. That, in collusion with a lack of gardening, both due to biased laws and government subsidized farming of cheap, fattening foods like corn and soy... we're fucked to say the least.
On top of the whole pyramid scam is the pharmaceutical industry and Monsanto/Bayer who generically engineer poisonous GMO foods that make humans ill and obese. These corporate giants poison us, THEN sell us medicines to the sum of BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to alleviate the ailments caused by their poison that can barely be considered "food". That's not to even mention the BILLIONS of dollars spent in the health care system on surgeries, the millions spent on dieting, millions spent on over the counter supplements, etcetera...
All of this could be easily fixed if more Americans would use their property to grow organic FOOD INSTEAD OF LAWNS!!!

Pesticides like glycophosphates found in Roundup leave a chemical residue on the foods they are sprayed on, which is then ingested by the consumer who is then slowly poisoned and leads to future health problems like obesity, diabetes, and even food allergies like Celiac (sensitivity to wheat gluten).
When are Americans going to wake up? When are we going to DEMAND a change to a broken system that rewards greed of the large CAFO and agribusiness industries that are damaging us on a genetic level.
You ARE what you eat. Garbage in equals garbage out. Demand change. Demand that fruits and vegetables be controlled in a pricing index against this over inflation of pricing where a burger is cheaper than a salad. Eat more salad for a healthier lifestyle as well as your leafy greens, fruits, and vegetables. Drink lots of water too.
If enough people demand a change then we will get that message through to the highest levels of the land. Businesses WANT to make money, so if they see the customer demand for organic, pesticide free, antibiotic free, hormone free, etc., the market WILL dictate that change to occur.
I'm gonna end this with a strong statement I have made many times before, but it still is true.
EVERY DOLLAR YOU SPEND IS A VOTE FOR POLICY.
If a company is unethical or poisoning the environment, DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THEIR PRODUCT!!!

ALL LIVES MATTER

Welcome to the Quiet Mouse Strikes Back. There is a bad vibe in the air recently, leading into the election of a new President, as violence continues to rise in the streets. There is a lot of protests against police brutality. Murder being committed by the officers sworn to uphold the law, to serve and protect. Our politicians are corrupt crooks and liars. The system is broken. Hillary Clinton has openly stated, repeatedly, that she wants to dismantle the Constitution, starting by taking away our Second Amendment right to bear arms.

This is a crisis. Our nation is in peril. And then I wonder how things got this way. It didn't take me long to figure out the answer. Racism and prejudices have been a part of our culture since the white man invaded this rock called the Americas starting with the murder of native, indigenous peoples by Christopher Columbus.
Blacks aren't the first ethnic group to be abused or discriminated in this country, and will doubtfully be the last, as Hispanics and Latinos are the current victims of the cycle of abuse. After all, it is much easier to blame a group of people for life's problems than to accept responsibility and find solutions.
This is just the classic divide and conquer strategy that has been used to manipulate populations since the dawn of time, before even our current iteration of "history" (that is conveniently written by the winner of wars). Divide and conquer strategy seems to work really well by making pretty much ANY issue 2 sided, much like our vote for Presidency. A 2 sided debate on issues forces people,  in their minds, to be divided, often making one side demonized on order to influence policy and create support for evil actions taking place within our government.
On a genetic level, we are all the SAME. We are all born from our mother's womb. We all bleed. We all seek the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness as well as the means to support ourselves and our families.
What divides us most is geography, which influences our skin pigmentation, religious beliefs, morals, and interpersonal relations.
The advent of the Internet has helped to bridge the gap between us... a little. This however is barely tapping into the root of the problem though.
Governments job is to assure the continuity of government, NOT to serve the people. Period. Therefore, how can WE count on THEM to solve a problem that they BENEFIT from? Especially when it is directly in our scope of control as humans to fix the problem. Racism, sexism, xenophobia, and other types of prejudice are 100% TAUGHT AND LEARNED BEHAVIORS!!! Babies aren't born racist, THEY ARE TAUGHT. Want to end prejudice? Stop teaching it to impressionable children!!!

Now it's NOT a black vs. white issue. It's not even the cops vs citizens. It's an attitude of entitlement, greed, selfishness, and bigotry. The REAL enemy of mankind is corrupt bankers, politicians, and business leaders that profit off of death, misery, and the struggle of the masses. There IS enough food. There ARE enough resources. But with an ever growing population, the greed of the few has begun to even more significantly effect the masses. The top 1 to 5% owns more than the bottom 95% put together. This is the problem. Faceless un-electable assholes, whose greed knows no bounds, are party to a shadow government that rules the world. Some have called this the NWO or the Illuminati. Some know them as the Rockefellers or Rothschilds who have enough money, power, and resources to feed, clothe, and shelter the entire populace of the Earth. IF they wanted to. It's like a big game of chess to them, and we are it's pawns. While we are fighting one another in race wars, these guys are just sitting back laughing at the game they engineered, the game that keeps them in power while we are fighting one another. Wake up.

All lives matter. Until we ALL stop segregating ourselves by race, religion, gender, and geographical proximity and start realizing we have MUCH MORE IN COMMON THAN NOT... we're pretty much fucked. It will continue to get worse with more wars, more famine, more disease, and more of the same old bull shit. Nothing will get better until we, as humans, are fed up with the control of our monetary system, food, and resources. It's a Bug's Life issue. We are the ants and they are the grasshoppers. We outnumber them. We can demand change. But first we must stop fighting among ourselves. It's just logic. Hate begets more hate. Anger begets more anger. Violence begets more violence.

A final message for my black friends and cousins (because we are ALL cousins on this rock)... You cannot claim racism and discrimination when YOU are being racist and discriminatory towards whites and other non-blacks. You cannot claim that you are being segregated when you are segregating yourselves with bigotry and antiquated thought processes or with black only holidays and award shows (BET) that in their nature are designed to discriminate against non-blacks. AND you cannot claim the system is unfair when you glorify a culture of drugs and violence, but try to complain and cry when your babies are out in the streets looting, murdering, rioting, etc.
