5 Best Current Actors

Hello and welcome back to the Quiet Mouse strikes back. I know it's been a while and for that I do sincerely apologize, my friends. I basically took the summer off to spend with my kids working on becoming a better man and father... I'm sure since we are all adults and this IS an adult blog, I'm sure you will all understand.
Let's not get hung up on details here, because I could go on and on about nothing like Seinfeld for an hour, so let's take this journey into the movies once again since those who know me know how much of a movie buff I am. This list is NOT inclusive of all the good actors out there, OR all of the said actors best movies...
Now bear in mind as always, these are MY opinions... so don't hate

1. Johnny Depp
Hits include: the Pirates of the Caribbean series as Captain Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissor-Hands, Sweeny Todd, Alice in Wonderland, Rango, the Corpse Bride, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Blow, Chocolat, and the masterful portrayal of Hunter S. Thompson in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

2. Tom Hanks
This fantastic actor claims roles in: Big, Toy Story 1, 2, &3 as Woody, Dragnet, the Money Pit, Castaway, Forrest Gump, the Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan, the Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, and more...

3. Harrison Ford
He is one of MY very favorite actors since childhood. I grew up watching his films including:
Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Cowboys & Aliens, Blade Runner, Air Force One, Clear & Present Danger, the Fugitive, Witness, Presumed Innocent, et. al

4. Robert Downey Jr.
Often controversial, I truly believe this man belongs on this list with films like:
Iron Man 1 & 2, the hilarious Due Date, Sherlock Holmes, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Back to School, the Soloist, and Chaplin

5. Leonardo DiCaprio
With blockbusters like Titanic and Inception this man deserves a spot on this list for sure in addition to films like: the Departed, Shutter Island, Blood Diamond, The Beach, Gangs of New York, The Aviator, Catch Me if You Can, and the classic Romeo + Juliet

The hardest part of thinking about this list is the people who didn't make the top 5... so with due recognition and a TIE for #6 we have 4 actors that deserve recognition
Bruce Willis
Jeff Bridges
Liam Neeson
Daniel Craig

I want to finish off this blog by listing some of Hollywood's BEST actors that are under rated and often forgotten, but are each blessed with a huge amount of talent
Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ken Watanabe, Tom Hardy, Guy Pierce, Mark Strong, Thomas Hayden-Church, and Matthew Fox
If you don't know who any of these actors are, I suggest you crawl out from under that rock you've been living under, lol... OR you could just look them up. IMDB.com (Internet Movie Data Base) has filmographies for all these actors.
